Walk around the park. Find the beach, which we thought was going to be a beautiful sandy beach. To our dismay, it was only a rock beach with about 20 mid-aged men and women shell fishing. bust.
purchase 3 min. shower tokens.
drive to Bremerton, after much confusion, to catch the ferry over to Seattle for the day.
Find this little gallery, which we thought was going to be a lame mom and pop water color gallery. Turned out to actually be pretty worthwhile. They had this really obscure artwork downstairs in the basement, as well as this shopping back exhibition... I'll post photos later. We meet one of the local artists showing in the downstairs gallery, Juan Rodriguez. He makes these life size human molds out of packing paper, and these giant 12 ft bird wings, that he sealed in wax. Inspired by Greek mythology I think. a lot.

PIKES MARKET
OVER RUN WITH TOURISTS.

ate dinner at Falafel king.
found our hostel... the green tortoise.

grumble a bit about prices. contemplate sneaking into the underground tour, but the gaurd following us around dissuaded our bravado. paid too much for margaritas at this bar. then left for the ferry. oh gawwwd Seattle.
